Through Mothers Garden I wanted to explore the relationship between mother and child, specifically the relationship between mother and son. I am interested in the ever shifting nature of this relationship, and in my own personal connection to my mother and her garden; the utopian/anti-utopian connotations of that place and that relationship.
Awakened stacked two by two
Always hearing every little sound
Away now, you must go outside and tend to the garden, we need it, it needs us
Anything and everything to be discovered, so much to do
Attention captured before other influences beg to distract them and take over their time
Allowed to make mistakes
At bedtime listening stacked two by two
Asleep now stacked two by two
